Explore your cloud architecture

ArchitectureAll users4 min

Move from a cloud inventory to the relationships, exposure and operational impact around each resource.

Open Cloud Mapping

Choose the cloud account you want to inspect. Start from the account summary, or filter the resource view by name, type, region, exposure or mapping status.

Review the latest scan

Open Scan results before drawing conclusions from the map. Check whether relevant services completed successfully or were affected by missing permissions, failures or throttling.

Inspect a resource

Select a resource to review its scanned configuration, exposure, tags, mapping status and immediate relationships. Use this view to answer questions such as:

  • Is the resource public, private or internal?
  • Which workspace or environment does it belong to?
  • What does it depend on?
  • What depends on it?

Follow the Architecture graph

Open Architecture to move through dependencies visually.

Follow the complete path rather than stopping at the first relationship. Understanding exposure may require following a service through its host, security controls and load balancer.

Filter to Needs mapping or Exposed, and keep platform defaults hidden, to stop a large account from becoming unreadable.

Check blast radius

Use the resource context to identify upstream dependencies and downstream systems that could be affected by a failure or change.

Treat the result as bounded by the connected accounts and the latest successful scan coverage.
