How Vörr works
Vörr connects information that is normally spread across cloud consoles, repositories, monitoring tools, CI systems and internal documentation. and uses that connected context to answer questions about your organization.
Two ways to use Vörr
- The Vörr web interface
- Visual surfaces only — Cloud Mapping, scan results and Architecture. You browse and inspect your system here; you do not chat with Vörr in it.
- Vörr through MCP
- Chat lives here. Add Vörr to Claude or ChatGPT, and ask your questions in that assistant — it retrieves the same engineering facts during the conversation.
Both use the same connected organization data. The Chat section in the web interface is where you set the connector up, not a chat of its own.
How to verify an answer
- Read-only by design
- Vörr does not change your infrastructure, code or CI system.
- No invented certainty
- It distinguishes a verified zero from missing, unscanned or unavailable data.
- Visible provenance
- Facts identify their source and how the relevant service was matched.
The Vörr workflow
Connect → Map → Ask → Verify.
- Connect the repositories, cloud accounts and engineering tools Vörr should understand.
- Map repositories, branches, environments, workspaces and service names.
- Ask a question in Claude or ChatGPT with the Vörr connector enabled.
- Review the sources, match quality and coverage before acting.
